2026 Charity Trust Board Application
As one of the most urban tribes in the United States, the Puyallup Tribe of Indians is committed to being a good neighbor. It is consistently one of the top 10 employers in Pierce County, it fights to protect the environment, its economic development projects create jobs, and it donates millions of dollars each year to charitable organizations through its Charity Trust Board and through donations made directly by the Puyallup Tribal Council.
Since 2012, the Puyallup Tribe has donated more than $18 million to hundreds of local organizations through its Charity Trust Board.
Charity Trust Board interests include:
- Educational Services
- Elder Services
- Food Services
- Social Services
- Religious Services
- Youth Services
- Amateur Sport Services
- Cultural Services
Evaluation criteria: Preference will be given to projects that demonstrate benefits or services to Indians as part of their service population and are located in Pierce County.
Eligibility Requirements
Please submit as one combined pdf labeled with PI’s Lastname, Firstname:
1. A oneāpage letter of intent briefly and specifically addressing the following:
- Briefly (50 words or less) summarize your program and the reason for this grant request.
- How will your program benefit the Puyallup Tribe’s Community and the surrounding area?
- How will the award be expended? Please be specific.
- Do you have any existing relationships with the Puyallup Tribe?
- CV (not biosketch) of the PI

If given the go-ahead by the limited submissions review committee, submissions are due to the sponsor on 9/30/2026.
