GENERAL PLANNING FOR RETIREMENT
Regular, topical seminars on retirement transitions are offered by the UW Retirement Center and the UWRA. Other UW offices feature retirement-related programs for employees. Think ahead about new directions, retirement lifestyles, finances, legal matters, health, travel, downsizing and more.

The UW Benefits & Work/Life Office offers regular seminars and workshops on procedures for retiring from UW and making benefits-related decisions.

MEDICARE
UW employees or retirees who are approaching age 65 should sign up for Medicare.
