UWRA Scholarships and Fellowships
UWRA’s scholarships and fellowships support UW students headed toward careers in aging-related fields. Students from a wide variety of majors apply for these awards.
Spring 2012 Scholarship and Fellowship Awards
In Spring 2011 the UWRA awarded four $3,000 scholarships to UW students. In addition, two graduate fellowship of $6,000 were awarded.
Scholarships
A substantial endowment and generous member donations make it possible for us to award annual scholarships. Our UWRA scholarship endowment increases annually, thanks to member donations and University House community fees. Members also donate to boost the amount of annual scholarship awards.

Spring 2012 Scholarship applications
UWRA seeks applicants from a wide range of programs. Recent applicants
have included majors in Architecture, Audiology, Comparative History of
Ideas, Evans School, Pharmacy, Social Work, and Health Administration.
Scholarship application and deadline date for the coming year are posted
at the link below. Scholarships are awarded in the spring and apply to
spring quarter.

Fellowships
Annual graduate fellowship awards are drawn from established UWRA endowed fellowship funds. Notification regarding fellowships is distributed to departments by the Graduate School early in the calendar year.
