Population 3-Compartment Model (POP3CM)

Portion of user interface for POP3CM. Click for larger image.
Click image to see more detail.

POP3CM is a prototype population analysis program. The program uses a graphical user interface to organize the analysis of a three compartmental model.

All of the operations in POP3CM are initiated from the Control window.

In the 3-Compartmental Model Population Analysis

  • data from various subjects and parameters may be different for each subject
  • data for each subject may be limited
  • there may be many subjects

Data from multiple subjects is used to:

  • Improve estimation of the parameters for each subject.
  • Analyze data that is not identifiable for a single subject.
  • Estimate the mean of the parameters over the population.
  • Estimate the variance of the parameters between subjects.

If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the fully functional POP3CM executable (you will need the matrix language O-Matrix), send an e-mail request to: Paolo Vicini (vicini@u.washington.edu). At the moment, we are not releasing POP3CM as an individual product, but we may do so in the future depending on the community's interest or as a teaching tool.
