Registration
Those who wish to submit an abstract must first register to attend the conference and pay the full registration fee. The deadline for abstract submission is March 20, 2006. Abstracts will not be considered if payment has not been received in full. Payments must be made in US dollars.

Fee
The registration fee is $595 for current RNA Society members and $695 for non-members if paid in full by March 20, 2006. On March 21, the fees will increase to $645 for members and $745 for non-members. Registration on site (i.e., not pre-registered) is $695 for members and $795 for non-members. Please Note: You cannot submit an abstract if registration and fees are not received by March 20, 2006.

Additional abstract books can be purchased in advance for $28 each, and will be distributed at the conference.

Fees Include
  • access to all lectures, workshops, poster sessions and coffee breaks
  • conference materials including program/abstract book
  • 9 meals: 4 lunches (Wednesday through Saturday), 4 dinners (Tuesday through Friday), and Saturday night banquet

Lodging Costs
Lodging Costs for the 5 nights of RNA 2006 vary from as little as $210 (for a double in the dorms) to $302 (for a single in the dorms) to roughly $600 for a single in one of the nearby hotels. See Lodging for details.

Cancellations
The conference must receive notification of cancellation in writing by email at rna2006@u.washington.edu or fax at 206-706-8476.

Cancellations may be partially refunded subject to the following fees:

Cancellation received by March 20, 2006 – forfeit $100
Cancellation received between March 21 and May 20 – forfeit $250
Cancellation after May 20 – no refund

Substitutions are not permitted for conference registration.

Credit Card: We will accept payment by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Please note that the merchant identified on your credit card billing statement will be “Simple Meetings”.

Wire Transfer: Instructions for wire transfer will be sent upon request. An additional payment of $30 must be added to the registration fees to cover bank processing fees. Transfer of funds must be initiated by the registration deadline date and funds must be received within 10 days of registration submission.

Purchase Order: Participants paying by an institutional Purchase Order will need to provide that Purchase Order number during registration. An invoice for payment will be sent immediately and payment must be received within 30 days of invoice.

On-Site Registration
Registration will occur at Meany Hall beginning at 12:00 noon on June 20, 2006 and will continue for the duration of the conference. If you have not registered in advance, the fee for on-site registration will be $695 for RNA Society members and $795 for non-members.
