Registration and Fees

Registration
Those who wish to submit an abstract must first register to attend the
conference. The deadline for abstract
submission is March 15, 2010. Abstracts will not be considered if payment
information has not been received with registration.
Plan ahead!
Registration must be received and acknowledged
before you will be able to submit an abstract.
Fees
The registration fee is $700 (US) for current RNA Society members and $800
(US) for non-members if paid in full by March 15, 2010. On March 16 the fees
will increase to $750 (US) for members and $850 (US) for non-members.
You cannot submit an abstract if registration is not
received by March 15, 2010.

Additional abstract books can be purchased in advance for $25 each and will
be distributed at the conference.
Conference registration fees include:

access to all lectures, workshops, poster sessions and coffee breaks

conference materials including program/abstract book
-

meals: 4 lunches (Wednesday through Saturday), 4 dinners (Tuesday through
Friday) and Saturday night banquet
Spouse/guest meal packages, which include 9 meals but no access to lectures,
workshops or poster sessions, may be purchased with registration for $250.
Cancellations
The conference must receive notification of cancellation in writing by email
at
rna2010@u.washington.edu or fax at 206-706-8476.
Cancellations may be partially refunded subject to the following fees:

Cancellation received by March 15, 2010 - forfeit $100

Cancellation received between March 15 and May 22, 2010 - forfeit $250
-
Cancellation received after May 22, 2010 - not refundable
Substitutions are not permitted for conference registration.
Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of registration in one of the
following ways. Your registration will be acknowledged by email
immediately, but is not confirmed until full payment
is received.
Credit Card: We will accept Visa, Mastercard, American
Express or Discover. Please note that the merchant identified on your credit
card billing statement will be “Simple Meetings". In most cases your card will
be charged within a day or two of registration submission; never more than
one week later.
Checks: Checks must be received within 30 days of registration date. Please make checks payable to
"Simple Meetings" and mail to:

Wire Transfer: Instructions for wire transfer will be sent by email upon
request. The net amount transferred (after your "sending" bank deducts fees)
must equal the total registration fees. Funds must be received
within 30 days of registration date.
Purchase Order: Participants paying by an institutional Purchase
Order will need to provide the Purchase Order number during registration.
An online invoice for payment will be produced immediately with the confirmation, and payment must be
received within 30 days of registration date.
On-site Registration
Registration will open at Meany Hall beginning at 2:00 p.m. on June 22,
2010 and will continue for the duration of the conference. If you have not
registered in advance, the fee for on-site registration will be $800 (US) for RNA
Society members and $900 (US) for non-members
