Potential Reserve and Corridor Network
The final network maximized forested land and minimized high road- and parcel-density and agricultual areas.
Corridors were primarily based on riparian zones with limited upland connections. Corridor widths were 1/4- to 1/2-mile unless restricted by current land use.
The proposed network included approximately 30% of the County yet yielded a 39% increase in the amount of protected potential habitat for the three taxa.
