I got my undergraduate degree at Agricultural University of Hebei in Land Resources Management in June 2008. In September 2009,I was admitted to China University of Geosciences(Beijing) as a master student. Because of my excellent performance, I was approved to pursue my PhD study without examination in September 2010,majoring in Land Resources Management.

In May 2011,I was awarded a scholarship from China Scholarship Council.With the scholarship I am fortunately able to be cooperating with Dr. Moskal at University of Washington for 2 years from September 2011 to September 2013.

Research Area

When I was in China my research area focused on the application of remote sensing in mining area.I am interested in how to solve the environmental problems caused by mining and economic progress.

Currently I am working with Dr. Moskal on hyperspectral and LiDAR data fusion for forest health assessment.This project aims to develop,calibrate and demonstrate a rapid forest health assessment tool.
