Research Poster

ABOUT THE POSTER:

The Lake Roosevelt poster was used as an example for other school groups to follow when they made research posters for final presentations of their short-term research projects at the summer science camp as well as the presentation of their long-term research projects at the final state-wide "Rural Girls in Science" conference.

Headings on the posters needed to include:

  1. A Title
  2. The Authors
  3. The Name of the School
  4. The Study Area
  5. The Research Question
  6. The Methods
  7. The Results
  8. Possible Areas of Future Study

Lake Roosevelt researchers used graphs, photos, text, plant pressings, and jars of soil samples as content for their research poster.
