PLANT GROWTH

Our Watering Method
We had four sets of three plants. The first set of plants was watered with Lake Chelan Water. The second set of plants was watered with Veroske Creek Water. The third set was watered with Dry Lake Water and the fourth set received tap water as a control.

Plant Growth
The plant that grew the most (80cm) over a five-week period received Tap Water. The second largest plant (65cm) was the one watered with water from Dry Lake.

WATER CHEMISTRY

pH Level: Lake Chelan and Veroske Creek had a pH level of 8. Dry Lake had a pH level of 7.5.

Dissolved Gases in Water: Veroske Creek had the largest amount of carbon dioxide (25mg/L) while the other water sources had smaller amounts (10mg/L). We think the creek might have more CO2 because it has a lot of vegetation.
