We plan to visit
several different elementary classes to teach students how to conduct water tests on the Yakima River that runs through our town.

Research Question:
What are the major problems of the Yakima River and what can we do about them?

The initial objective of our project is to study the effects of different pollutants at different locations along the river, coordinating with other schools in the area. The final stage of the project will involve working to improve the quality of the water.
