Job description
Clinical Pharmacists are responsible for the provision of drug therapy review/monitoring, prescribing, preparation, counseling, dispensing and drug control in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
These responsibilities require excellent communication skills with patients, their patient’s families, medical staff members and department/hospital staff.

The Clinical Pharmacist also takes active role in the development and implementation of new programs, while supporting and facilitating the programs in place.

Clinical pharmacists at Valley Medical Center practice under six prescriptive authority protocols and keep the patient and their well-being as the central focus of their professional activities.

Details
Shift Overview:
• 50 % Decentralized Full-Clinical shifts
• 50% Centralized shifts
• Monday – Friday EVES, no weekends

Requirements
Current Washington State Pharmacist License
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from accredited School of Pharmacy

Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred
