Position: Inpatient Pharmacist

Location: Western Washington

Job Summary:
Seeking "Clinical Staff Pharmacist" to join our exception team. This individual will assist in expanding the Outpatient Anticoagulant Clinic and serve inpatients through our hospital pharmacy with clinical and distributive services.

Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, with exceptional communication and leadership skills, and will have the ability to provide clinical services that include prescribing by protocol, therapeutic interchange, pharmacokinetic dosing, parenteral nutrition consulting, code blue participation and patient education in a pharmacy offering decentralized unit-dose drug distribution, USP-797 compliant intravenous admixture services, safely compounded cancer chemotherapy in a closed system, and barcode scanning for electronic medication administration records and bedside verification by nurses.

We have implemented the OUtpatient Anticoagulant Clinic and rotate through our progressive inpatient pharmacy to provide clinical services that include prescribing by protocol, therapeutic interchange, pharmacokinetic dosing, TPN consulting, code participation and patient education using a decentralized drug distribution system, IV admixtures, chemo, and bar coding.

Salary is $52-$60/hour plus relocation

Minimum Requirements:
PharmD preferred, WA State License, 1 year hospital pharmacy experience preferred, or extensive hospital internship - New Grads are Welcome!
