| Cleanliness in the Learning Spaces Date: 07/14/2008 |
The computers located in the Learning Commons located at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library and the Computing Resource Center within Mary Gates Hall are not only maintained on a technological level, but a hygienic level as well. It is our duty to allow users to have a safe, clean experience using the computers, and we bring this into utmost consideration. Our Help Desk Consultants aid in giving our clients a clean environment by following a regularly scheduled cleaning program, one that is both monitored and held in high regard. It is our duty to clean every monitor, keyboard, desk, and any item that is within the area. This effort to clean is truly valuable to us, and one which is understood to be valuable to everyone, as well. As much as it is our target to maintain the cleanliness, there are also ways in which you, our clients, can help as well. There are many supplies that we make available for everyone to use, and we help others to help themselves, as well as every person around them. Hand sanitizers are available in the Computing Resource Center, and are highly encouraged for everyone to use. We also have multiple Self Service Cleaning Supplies located on desks near every main area, as well as at the Help Desks themselves, allowing users to clean a workstation desk if they wish to do so. Most importantly, it is essential that we are all aware of our surroundings, so if an area is not up to satisfaction, feel free to ask any Help Desk Consultant around you, and he or she will assist you in getting the area cleaned. Together, we can help maintain a clean environment to satisfy all those that wish to use such resources. |
