We hope that reading the following information will make reserving SAFS resources a snap for you.

Overview

How to Make a Reservation

  1. Invoke the appropriate resource name above (e.g., conference rooms).
  2. Please read the resource overview—it often has critical information.
  3. Invoke resource link (e.g., FSH 106) to check calendar for existing reservations.
  4. To check status of existing reservations, invoke the bullet in the pink box for the appropriate time slot. No bullet = time slot is available.
  5. Invoke the item under "resource name" (leftmost) to make a reservation.
  6. Enter appropriate info; name, phone, and email address are required.
    • If you are making a reservation for someone else, please describe the event and provide contact information in the Notes text box.
    • If reserving audio-visual equipment, please indicate which room and building it will be used in.
  7. Password protect your reservation so that no one else can overwrite it. Be sure to record your password.
    • If you forgot your password and need to delete or modify a reservation, send email to the resource administrator (see resource homepage), including the following as appropriate: resource, category (general), item (specific), and date(s). The administrator will delete the reservation; if necessary, then re-enter the reservation.

Caveats

  1. Some rooms can be reserved by you directly online—links to the reservation calendar are provided for these; others require that you send designated email—no online calendar is available for these.
  2. Recurring reservations can only be made by authorized users by sending them an email request. Authorized users are listed when appropriate on each resource homepage.
