The Workskiff is supplied with a two full 30 gallon onboard fuel tanks. Boat renter is responsible for refilling fuel tanks before returning the boat. Outboard oil is supplied with rental. All OB oil containers (empty or full) must be returned at end of rental period.

On submitting this form, you agree to the following:

  1. I have read and will follow the SAFS Boat Procedure and Policies.
  2. I have satisfactorily completed the Boating Saftey Program and a Practical Check Ride for the type of boat I will be using.
  3. I understand that it is highly recommended that I obtain either UW field trip insurance (for students) or UW student health insurance, which are available inexpensively.
  4. When I am the designated skipper for a given boat trip, I will be responsible for all aspects of the trip: trailering, equipping, launching, the crew, and the operation of the vessel.
  5. In case of an accident, I will report the accident to the SAFS Director's Office, and if there is a third party involved, to the UW Risk Management Office.
