Reservations Home
Portable audio/visual equipment is available to SAFS faculty, staff, and students to use for seminars, classes, presentations, etc. This equipment is not to be taken off campus, and should only be used in Fishery Buildings (FSH, FTR, MAR). Upon checking out the equipment, you are responsible for its "well-being," and for returning it in a timely manner. The equipment is valuable so please treat it with care, making sure to include all cables and attachments when packing up.
Reserving Equipment
Click on the resource in the table below to check availability. You can use this system to sign up for a single use. If you wish to use reserve equipment for an ongoing event, please send email to safsdesk@u.washington.edu including the following required information: name, phone, type of event, dates requested, location where equipment will be used.
Picking Up/Returning Equipment
All equipment is to be picked up from and returned to FSH 116. Office hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Equipment should be returned to FSH 116 at the end of every day. Contact the main office if there are extenuating circumstances or to make special arrangements.
Problems/Questions
If something is not working properly, or you have questions about how to use the equipment, please report it to the main office: FSH 116, 543-4270, email: safsdesk@u.washington.edu.
Other Options
FSH 102, 107, and 108 all have built-in A/V systems (computer/LCD projector/VCR/slide projector). If you are using one of these rooms, you do not need to check out A/V equipment separately. However, in order to access the A/V system in these rooms, Classroom Support Services requires that you attend a training session on how to use the system. Contact Classroom Support Services directly to schedule your training 543-9900.
