Instructional lab equipment and supplies are available to SAFS faculty and staff for use in classes. This equipment is not to be taken off campus without prior permission, and should only be used in SAFS Buildings (FSH, FTR, MAR). Upon checking out the equipment, you are responsible for its "well-being" and for returning it in a timely manner. The equipment is valuable so please treat it with care.
Supplies are listed in the supply menu but no calendar is available. To request instructional supplies, you will also need to submit a yellow equipment/supply request form (see item 3 above). Email confirmation takes 1 business day.
BOTH SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT CAN BE LISTED ON THE SAME FORM. Instructional equipment/supply request forms are due one week before the class in which they are needed. Otherwise we can not guarantee the items will be available. Items are available on a first come first serve basis.
All equipment and supplies will be delivered to your classroom or laboratory. You are responsible for emptying and cleaning all items when you are finished using them. Once the items are clean, load the equipment back on to the cart and the lab manager will pick up the cart.
If you need an item that is not listed on the website, you will need to fill out an instructional equipment/supply order form. This form is available online (pdf) or in the FSH mailroom. You will need to submit order forms two weeks before the class in which you need them, to allow time for order and delivery. Supply orders go out once a week on Wednesday.
