Visitors parking on campus must stop at any campus gatehouse and pay the current fee on weekdays between 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. and on Saturdays between 7 a.m. - noon: $8.00 per day from 6 a.m to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and $3.00 after 4 p.m. On Saturday parking is $3.00 from 6 a.m. to noon. and free after noon. Parking on Sunday is free. Note that there are restricted lots where a valid permit is always required. See this page for details.

To park on campus, drive to the gatehouse specified below (see maps 1 and 2) and inform the gatekeeper that you are attending the SALT 13 conference, he or she will try to give you a space as close to the conference site as possible. Parking permits are issued for specific lots. A portion of the parking fee is refunded upon exit if the visitor's stay is under four hours between 6 a.m.- 4 p.m. weekdays or under an hour on Saturday.

The nearest parking to the Boeing Auditorium in the Seafirst Executive Education Center (conference site on Saturday and Sunday) is to the west in lots N4 and N5. To reach this parking, turn southward onto Memorial Way from 45th Street NE. Pay at Gate 2 (tell the gatekeeper you are here for SALT 13) and proceed forward to the intersection, then turn left. N4 will be on your right and N5 on your left. This parking is more open on Saturday and Sunday than on Friday.

The nearest parking to the Waterfront Activities Center is to the west in lot E12. To reach this parking, turn eastward into the Husky Stadium parking lot from Montlake Boulevard. Turn right and pay at Gate 8 (tell the gatekeeper you are here for SALT 13) then proceed forward staying to the left. Be careful not to park in E11 if your permit is for E12.

The nearest parking to the Henry Art Gallery is in the underground parking garage (levels C1 through C6) just south of Odegaard Undergraduate Library, this garage is also near the Boeing Auditorium in the Seafirst Executive Education Center. Pay at gate 1 or gate 5, both are accessible from 15th avenue NE (tell the gatekeeper you are here for SALT 13).

To park off campus, look for spaces in either the University Bookstore parking (with gatehouse) on the corner of 15th Avenue NE and 42nd Street NE (one hour parking validated with purchase) or at Shoppers' Park (self-pay) at 4225 University Way (the Ave). Parking at either lot is $1.00 for each increment of a half hour, or $12.00 for ten hours parking. Parking after 6:00 p.m. is $3.00. There is also parking available at 4105 University Way (the Ave) for $3.00-one hour, $5.00-two hours, $6.00-three hours, $8.00-four hours, or $9.00-all day (6 a.m.-6 p.m.) and $5.00-night (5:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m.).
