Student Organization Registration Process
The first step in registering a student organization is to attend a Registration
Session. One of the officers must attend this orientation every year. 24 - 48
hours after attending a Registration Session the officer that signed in for the organization will
be able to log in to the online registration system and complete the registration process.
The online registration process usually takes no longer than 15 minutes PROVIDED the
officer already has all the necessary information. A registration
worksheet is provided at the Registration Session and the officer must have all the information prior
to submitting an online registration. Incomplete registrations are not processed by the Student Activities
Office.
The online registration process requires the following information:

Registration Approval Process
The officer who attended the Registration Session and submits the online registration will
receive an email confirmation stating that the registration has been submitted and received by SAO.
This does NOT constitute being registered.
SAO must receive, review and approve the student organization constitution. Additionally, if the student
organization is affiliated with a parent or national organization, SAO must receive a copy of their
constitution as well in order to complete the registration process.
Once all the registration information is verified, all five officers will be notified via
email that the organization is officially registered. A registration certificate will be emailed
to all five officers at the point the student organization is registered.
Incomplete Applications
Incomplete registrations are considered "Pending" until the registration process is completed and
the student org is fully registered. The officer who submitted the online registration will be contacted
via email if the registration is incomplete or requires further action. The officer may be asked to
submit, resubmit online or correct any inaccuracies that may be found.
