The HUB, originally built in 1949 with expansions and substantial modifications in 1952, 1960, and 1975, has begun a top-to-bottom renovation that will be completed in 2012. Grand Re-Opening is scheduled for Fall 2012. Learn more

Currently registered orgs, ASUW and GPSS can submit events to the HUB Calendar to be included on the HUB and SAO websites. And if so requested, the event can be posted to the UW Events Calendar.
We want to help get the word out about student org/student government events, meetings, and gatherings. Remember, an RSO must be currently registered in order to have a calendar event approved.
The deadline for groups to register with SAO is this Friday, October 28. Groups registered by then will retain benefits such as access to the Resource Center, mailbox space, ability to meet in classrooms on campus and email/web access. Groups not registered may lose benefits and have your email/web account suspended.
There will be four registration sessions this week, the first being this evening at 5:00 PM at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre. This session is primarily for groups connected with the ECC but other student organizations can attend this session. The next sessions will be tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, 3:30 at the Boeing Auditorium in the Bank of America Executive Center (Business School).
You will need to bring your current UW student ID to the session you choose to attend.

ASUW Special Appropriations is providing $55,000 in programming money to RSOs for 2011-2012. RSOs are eligible for up to $2000 per event and $3300 per year. For additional info on requirements and the request process, check out money.asuw.org *AND* contact your SAO Adviser.
UW Commuter Services is holding their annual Husky Football Game Survey on October 15. They will paying RSOs to conduct the survey at Husky Stadium. RSOs are welcome to participate in the Student Activities Fair during Dawg Daze. There is no better way to reach hundreds of student about joining your RSO or participating in your RSO events.
