The HUB, originally built in 1949 with expansions and substantial modifications in 1952, 1960, and 1975, has begun a top-to-bottom renovation that will be completed in 2012. Grand Re-Opening is scheduled for Fall 2012. Learn more

Dawg Daze is a series of fun events and workshops during the first week of Fall quarter to introduce and prepare students for the various aspects of life at the University of Washington.
Featured events are the Academic, Diversity and Student Activities Fair in the HUB, Fall Fling Concert and Convocation in Hec Ed Pavilion. Dawg Daze also hosts fun activities including food fairs, sports, big-name concerts in Red Square, a Sundae social and outdoor movies in the Quad.
Dawg Daze is coordinated across many departments of the University of Washington including the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President of Student Life, the Husky Union Building and the UW Alumni Association.
