Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW)
The Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW) is the student government on campus and its central office is located on the first floor of the HUB. The purpose of the ASUW is to benefit students by providing services for students, advocating student concerns and providing employment and volunteer opportunities
for students. In addition, the ASUW reserves funds each year for allocation to student organizations for their programs.
Some of the services provided by the ASUW include the Experimental College, Off-Campus Housing Affairs, Arts & Entertainment Film Series and the Bike Shop.
In addition to services, the ASUW advocates on students' behalf by sitting on University and faculty committees, lobbying state and national lawmakers, and working closely with faculty, administration and community leaders.
To become involved or learn more, stop by the ASUW office in HUB 104 C or e-mail asuw@u.washington.edu.
