HUB Ticket Office
The HUB Ticket Office can be a great resource for any visitor to the University of Washington. We offer a variety of services that include:
Husky Card Deposits
The Husky Card Account is a prepaid debit account for all currently enrolled UW students and faculty or staff. It is accepted at locations all over campus including the University Book Store. Deposits to your Husky Card can be made at our office in any amount over $1.00 payable in cash or check. For more information about the Husky Card account, please visit the Husky Card website.
Ticket Sales
We sell tickets for various events occurring in the HUB or on the HUB lawn, including the quarterly movie series in the HUB auditorium. Check to see what tickets are On Sale Now!
ASUW Arts & Entertainment Movie Series
We sell tickets for each movie the day of the show, starting at 8am. Check out the posters in the HUB for movie listings.
Ticket Sales
Our staff will accommodate advance ticket sales and door sales in the HUB, provide ticket stock and answer any questions on sales and related fees.
Advance Sale of Tickets
There is no initial fee to the UW sponsor for the advance sale of tickets; however, service charges are added to the price of each ticket sold.
Cash handling regulations require pre-numbered, printed tickets for advanced sales. If there will be more than one admission price, separate tickets should to be provided for each price. Check with the Ticket Office supervisor or a Student Activities adviser for specific requirements.
Day-of-Event Ticket Sales in the HUB
Door sales for events in the HUB will take place at the HUB Ticket Office. Our office requires at least two weeks written notice to schedule ticket sellers. Forms requesting these services are available at the HUB Ticket Office or the Student Activities Office. There is a two-hour minimum for scheduling ticket sellers that includes 15 minutes for setup and 15 minutes for closing. Since you will be paying for the ticket sellers we will not add a service charge to your tickets for door sales.
Events cosponsored by the ASUW/GPSS, and all other events in the HUB are required to use preprinted, numbered tickets for door sales (if not already left for advance sales). If you do not have your own tickets, pre-numbered ticket stock is available from the ticket office for door sales. For more information, visit the SAO website.

Subscription Services
New York Times Subscriptions
New York Times subscriptions are available at our office for up to 60% off the newsstand cover price. You can sign up to pick up your subscription at either our office or at the By George Newsstand. In addition, you can choose either a 5-day or a 7-day subscription. Subscription prices are prorated weekly and do not include University holidays.
Home Delivery of the New York Times is also available for those affiliated with the University of Washington. Stop by our office and pick up a form to start your home delivery subscription.
Card Services
Copy Cards
Copy cards can be purchased for $5, $10, or $20. Copies cost 10¢ with a copy card. You can even recharge your copy card at any copy machine or at the Copy Services Department in the basement of the Communications Building (room B-045). You can also purchase a copy card by budget number in the Communications Copy Services Department.
Phone Cards
We sell Verizon pre-paid international phone cards for $5, $10, and $20. There is a 49¢ cent connection fee on all calls in the U.S. (more to other countries), and the cost is 2.9¢ per minute for domestic calls on the mainland U.S. These cards work from any phone, but there is an additional charge of 50¢ for calls placed from public payphones.
Survival Kits
We sell 72-hour survival kits at our office. For just $21, you will receive a nylon zipper top bag with carrying handle that includes:
- Emergency drinking water, 10 pouches
- Emergency food packet, 2400 calories
- Emergency survival blanket
- Light sticks (2)
- Body and hand warmers (2)
- Emergency poncho with hood
- First Aid supplies
- Personal hygiene supplies
- Whistle
- Dust mask
You can purchase these emergency support units with cash, check or by budget number for your University office.
