HUB Project
In September the Board of Regents passed an allocation of Services and Activities Fee (SAF) funds to pay for the Pre and Schematic designs for a possible renovation of the HUB.
The current time line is as follows:
| October – December 2008 | Pre-Design |
| January – May 2009 | Schematic Design |
| June 2009 | Request for the SAF Committee to allocate funding for bonds to continue the project |
| July 2009 | If SAF approves in June then Regents will be asked for the same approval |
| August 2009 | If Regents approve then design and construction documents phase commences |
| January 2011 | Construction commences |
| January 2013 | Construction complete |
In the meantime, Perkins+Will, in collaboration with Student Activities and Union Facilities, the HUB Project Committee, and the Capital Projects Office, is working on a new program and design for the HUB. As more information becomes available it will be posted on this site.
