Upon entering campus at any gatehouse, a visitor who
is mobility impaired should self-identify in order to be accommodated.
Visitors will be assigned parking in a "disabled" area as close
to the SCC as possible. There are several disabled parking spots on the
top two levels of S-1, the parking area closest to the SCC. Parking permits
for disabled and wheelchair areas cost the same as for other UW parking
areas.
Vehicles parked illegally are subject to citation or
towing.
Access to South Campus Center from the S-1 parking garage
The S-1 parking garage has three levels. Sky bridges connect the top
level of the garage to the South Campus Center at the east and west ends
of the building. There is an entrance to the second floor west end of
South Campus Center from the mid-level of the garage. These entrances
do not have stairs. Access from the lower level of the garage is by stairway.
Delivery / Load / Unload Parking @ SCC
Parking on or near the University of Washington and
the SCC is extremely congested. Load zones and/or loading docks have been
provided for your convenience at many locations. Please note that load
zones are time restricted, usually for 30 minutes.
