Hendrika Meischke also works with the Department of Global Health MPH program. She teaches two courses in the MPH program (HSERV582 and HSERV507). Her research interest is in health promotion, health communication and theory development. She has worked in areas such as: improving early recognition of and responses to heart attack symptoms among seniors, increasing rates of breast cancer screening and use of internet for communication of health information.
