Sean Sullivan is Director of the Program in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy, Department of Pharmacy. He supervises the Department of Pharmacy graduate program in pharmaceutical outcomes research and policy. He serves as principal investigator or co-investigator on numerous health services research and pharmaceutical costs and outcomes assessment grants and contracts and has published more than 100 papers, book chapters and books.

The overall purposes of this study are to topside motivation for developing a process for systematic evaluation of the value of laboratory testing technologies for health plans and patient populations and to demonstrate "proof of concept" with a cost-effectiveness analysis of an important new diagnostic technology.
