We are soliciting student papers with a strong computational component, in any branch of economics, finance, and decision making.

 

The full papers should be submitted in electronic form (zipped PDF or PS) to:

February 15, 2003.

At time of submission, please also send a certificate of enrollment verifying your status as a PhD student to the local committee in Seattle by email or fax: 206-706-8476, attention: Student Prize SCE2003.  You must also submit your paper on Conference Maker as a regular contribution to the conference.

The submitters will be informed of the decision of the Prize Committee on April 15, 2003. Prizes will be awarded conditional on presentation by the author (or one of the co-authors) of his/her paper at the CEF2003 conference, "Computing in Economics and Finance" that will be held in Seattle, Washington, USA, July 11-13, 2003. The winners will be entitled to a fee waiver and a subvention towards their travel and accommodation costs.
