The BFA in Sculpture
The BFA program in Sculpture enables undergraduates to develop a strong technical, visual, conceptual and aesthetic background. Students are exposed to a wide range of professional studio practices. Directions in contemporary Public Art are given consideration, as well as conceptual art issues dealing with non-traditional formats, idea oriented works, and performance art. Within the context of contemporary sculptural issues, the program cultivates the visual and verbal articulation of one's own work and ideas as well as the work of others. The final year is devoted to the development of an independent body of work.
