The U.S. News and
World Report published the following recent rankings of America's Best
Graduate Schools:
- The School of Medicine
was ranked first in training primary health care providers (2004), family
medicine (2003), and rural health medicine (2003).
- The School of Nursing
ranked first among masters-level nursing programs (2003).
- The School of Social
Work was one of three ranked third (2000).
- The UW ranked 11th
(2004) for medical research funding among private and public universities,
ensuring a rich research environment for trainees and faculty.
These rankings reflect
the faculty, material resources and facilities, and graduate training
experiences available to trainees.
