The Pediatric Pulmonary Center in Seattle, Washington is one of seven Pediatric Pulmonary Centers nationwide. The mission of the Pediatric Pulmonary Centers is to develop leaders who will improve the health of children with respiratory conditions through the provision of interdisciplinary care.

The Pediatric Pulmonary Centers are training programs funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

The Washington Pediatric Pulmonary Center's training program provides exemplary interdisciplinary leadership and clinical training for graduate and post-graduate trainees in:

  • Medicine
  • Nursing
  • Nutrition
  • Social Work
  • Respiratory Care

Graduates from the program become national leaders in the assessment, policy development, and assurance of systems of care required by children with chronic respiratory conditions and their families.
