First place winner will receive $500.00 and be
published in the Seattle
Review.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Entry Fees:
• $15 for each entry (one short story -- maximum length is 4,000
words).
• Make checks or money orders payable to The
Seattle Review (no cash).
2. Deadline:
Submissions must be postmarked between January 1, 2008 and March 31, 2008.
3. For each entry,
submit the following:
• The author's name must not appear anywhere on the manuscript.
• 3" x 5" index card stating the title of the work, the genre
(fiction), the author's name, phone number, mailing address, and email, as
well as how the entrant heard of the contest.
• A check or money order made out to The
Seattle Review.
• A self-addressed stamped envelope for response.
4.
No previously published works, or works accepted for publication.

6. Manuscripts will
not be returned. Winners will be announced in August, 2008.
