1) Gene-environment interactions
2) development of SPR-based biosensors for real-time detection of analytes (toxicants/toxins & other small molecules, proteins/toxic proteins, viruses, microbes)
3) production of therapeutic human proteins in E. coli bioreactor systems
4) identification of biomarkers of exposure to OP compounds
