GeoMapNW Forum Folks,
Last night we were visited upon by a spammer that posted about 50 spam messages to our discussion board. The offending messages have been deleted and the member account and IP address was banned. Unfortunately the also send private messages to many of the GeoMapNW forum users, who undoubtedly, received the spam in their mailboxes this morning. As a consequence of this, I have changed the registration process from a self-verification process to an admin verification process. I will now verify each new account personally, to avoid this problem in the future.
