I recently drilled a lot along Karshner Road, where I was expecting to find Qva over Qpog, but I ended up finding only 5-7 feet of what appears to be till based colluvium, silty sand with gravel in a loose to medium dense state with organics mixed in. Below that, the drill could not penetrate in four different locations. I am assuming that is the top of the Qpog, and I am interperting the results as colluvium over Qpog. It would be convienent to call uncontrolled fill, but I really don't think so.

Looking at the LIDAR imagery for the area, it appears that large block failures occured in the past, and I am guessing that the colluvuim I found is from that period.

So consequently, I think the mapping of Qva is not right on the quad in this area. My coords for the site are:  47°12'35.40"N 122°16'49.62"W

Thanks! I'll talk to Kathy, or at least send her this way.
