Arianne (Ari) Eason is a first-year PhD student in the Social/Personality area of the University of Washington’s Department of Psychology. She received a B.S. in Psychology from Yale University in 2012. Her research interests lie at the intersection of social and developmental psychology, more specifically understanding how children process subtle environmental information related to race and interracial interactions. She is working with Dr. Cheryl Kaiser in the Social/Personality area and Dr. Jessica Sommerville in the Developmental area.
