Andreas Quist

Andreas is a relatively new student of mathematics. With a passion for the sciences starting from a young age, he found interest in topics from biotechnology, engineering, and chemistry. Searching for deeper meaning in his studies of chemistry, Andreas became deeply interested in physics toward the end of his high school career. This eventually led to a pursuit in mathematics, in order to understand the complex machinery of high level physics. In the winter of 2017, Andreas finally decided to study pure mathematics. He is now in his second year of studying mathematics, reading ahead on topics like geometry, topology, algebra, and category theory. With extensive experience teaching math and as a counselor, Andreas is excited to be a SIMUW TAC this summer! Aside from reading about math for fun, Andreas enjoys swimming, solving puzzles, and talking logic.
