Dan Berg, MD
Director of Dermatologic Surgery
Dr. Berg is a fellowship trained dermatologic surgeon with over fifteen years of experience in the field. He specializes in Mohs and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. In addition to overseeing the UW Dermatologic Surgery center, Dr. Berg also directs the University of Washington Procedural Dermatology Fellowship and is active in the training of UW Dermatology Residents. His clinical interests include Skin Cancer (diagnostics and treatment, including Mohs Surgery); cutaneous laser surgery; and cosmetic dermatologic surgery (including hair transplantation, tumescent liposuction). |

Shayla Francis, MD
Procedural Dermatology Fellow
Shayla Francis, MD, is our UW fellow in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Surgery. Dr Francis completed both medical school and her specialty training (residency) in dermatology at the University of Colorado. She works together with Drs Berg and Chang and her clinical interests are focused on skin cancer surgery and reconstruction in addition to medical and cosmetic dermatology.
