We enjoy striving to provide the absolute best dermatologic care for each of our patients. Our goal is to make sure that every patient is well-informed and as comfortable as possible before, during, and after any surgery.

Dr. Berg completed dermatology training at Duke University in 1991. Following this, two further years of training in surgical dermatology were obtained at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. This time was spent in both the fields of cosmetic and skin cancer dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Berg is the former co-director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Currently, he is Director of Dermatologic Surgery and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington.
Dr. Berg teaches surgical dermatology to medical students and doctors at various levels of training at the University of Washington. He is published in peer-reviewed journals and lectures on dermatologic surgery techniques at local, national and international medical meetings.
Dr. Berg is involved currently in collaborative research on skin cancer and teaching techniques in dermatologic surgery, including the use of virtual reality models.
