CZECHS – Czech Studies Endowment
Established 2006. The fund was created to support students studying Czech language at the University of Washington, with preference for students in the second year of instruction who have shown a commitment to the mastery of the language.
MICKLE – Micklesen Graduate Support Fund
Established 1969. Scholarship support for undergraduate students in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures within the College of Arts and Sciences
POLDIS – Polish Studies Distinguished Speakers Fund
Established 2004. The fund supports bringing distinguished lecturers to the UW campus, to increase community awareness of Polish language, history, science, and culture. The lectures will serve as a springboard for fundraising for an Endowed Chair of Polish Studies at the University of Washington.
POLEND – Polish Studies Endowment Fund
Established 2004. The purpose of this endowment fund is to provide interdisciplinary support for Polish Studies in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures.
POLFUL – Polish Fulbrights Fund
Established 2006. To provide support for bringing Polish Fulbright lecturers to the UW and to award student scholarships for study in Poland.
POLISS – Friends of Polish Studies Fund
Established 2005. Discretionary funds to support Polish Studies.
SEEURO – Southeast European Studies Fund
Established 2007. To sustain the program in the SE European area by supporting graduate students with academic interests in the languages and cultures of this area
PAHNSC – Vadim Pahn Scholarship Fund
Established 1969. Scholarship support for undergraduate students in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures within the College of Arts and Sciences
SLADIS – Friends of Slavic Languages and Literatures
Established 1969. Unrestricted support for the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts and Sciences. Gifts to this fund are used at the discretion of the Chair where they are needed most.
SLAVIC – Slavic Languages and Literatures Institutional Allowance
Established 1969. To be used for awards for graduate and undergraduate students and also graduate/undergraduate support.

A subset of this fund provides the Nora Holdsworth Scholarhip, awarded to the high school student who wins the (Washington) ACTR Olympiada of Spoken Russian. The scholarship covers partial tuition to the summer quarter intensive Russian language program.

Another subset of this is used for the Jehlik Scholarship Fund, providing scholarships to students participating in the UW Prague Exploration Seminar.
SWAYZE – Swayze Fellowship Fund
Established 1969. Provides financial support for graduate students in Slavic Languages and Literatures.
UKRANI – Endowed Fund for Ukrainian Studies
Established 1998. To provide support for courses, lectures, studies and research on Ukrainian language, culture, literature or history, and on the social, political and economic environment of Ukraine at the University. Created to endow a chair of Ukrainian Studies at the UW.
UKRAND – Friends of Ukrainian Studies Fund
Established 1998. Discretionary fund to support Ukrainian Studies
