The School Law Division is a Research Center under the University of Washington College of Education's Institute for the Study of Educational Policy (EDLIPS). The School Law Division's focus over the years has been to provide practitioners, educators, school law attorneys, parents, parent attorneys, and advocates accurate and up-to-date information on legal issues and trends in education.
The School Law Division presents an annual conference on Special Education and the Law in the fall. The 25th Pacific NW Institute on Special Education and the Law will be held September 22-24, 2008 in Portland, Oregon.
