WORLDWIDE BOOK DRIVE
The Worldwide Book Drive and Sustainability Organization is collecting new and used books of all kinds.
TEXTBOOKS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED!
Your contributions bring donated books to Africa, to be recycled by disabled workers training to re-enter the workforce, and will be sent to under privileged youth throughout the U.S.
We need your help! If you have textbooks and any other kind of books, donate them! There is currently a blue drop-box next to the UW-1 Front Desk so bring your new and old books there. If you have any questions, please contact Aaron Huston.
All clubs are required to send at least two officers to the training to be officially recognized. In addition to gaining official recognition, you’ll learn about all the great resources available to you, and the various policies and laws governing student clubs. You'll also learn how to plan events, build partnerships, and access Club Council funds. Please arrive on time and bring your Husky Card to swipe in.

The SAF Committee is accepting applications for the annual budgeting cycle from November 30, 2012 until 5:00pm on January 16th, 2013. The intent of the annual funding cycle is to support on-going student activities, services, and programs. Services and Activities Fees are defined in RCW 28B.15.041 to mean “fees, other than tuition fees, charged to all students registering at the . . . state universities . . . The legislature also recognizes that Services and Activities Fees are paid by students for the express purpose of funding student activities and programs” of their particular institution.
Have a say in how your fees are used!
These funds will be available for the 2013 to 2014 academic year.
Annual request applications are now available on HuskySync under "Forms" and are due on Wednesday January 16th, 2013 by 5:00pm. Late applications will not be accepted, except at the discretion of the Committee. Adjustments to the final total requested by any club, group, organization, or department will not be accepted. After a request has been submitted, it may not be reopened for alterations or changes. Questions? Please contact Sumeet Dhanju, 2012-2013 SAF Chair.
Stop by the Cashier to pick up movie tickets for yourself or as gifts for friends and family. Tickets cannot be used for premier showings.
