WHEN: Saturday, March 23rd
7:30pm to 9:30pm
WHERE: UWB Sports Field

Earth Hour is the world's largest campaign for saving the planet. Over 7,000 cities and towns in 152 counties participate in this event! The Sustainability Organization and The City of Bothell Public Works are hosting UW Bothell's Earth Hour event which will take place on the UWB Sports Field on March 23rd.
How can you participate? Unplug all your electronics from home and turn off all your lights, then meet us on the UWB Sports Field at 7:30pm for games and activities before the 8:30pm countdown. Bring friends and family and try to wear your best bright costume because there will be prizes to be won for the best bright costume.
Then from 8:30pm - 9:30pm, all lights will be shut off and we will have games galore with neon glow sticks and many other games that won't use electricity!



WHEN: April 3rd, 2013 to May 2nd, 2013

This challenge is more than just a Wellness Challenge, but a challenge to help improve the 5 areas of wellness: Social, Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Sprititual. On top of those we also have included ways to improve your personal Wellness, and nutritional Wellness. This will be a fun way to stay healthy and have fun with friends. Each year the Clamor Editorial Board selects submissions from across creative disciplines, including works in literary, visual and media format–from University of Washington Bothell students, staff, faculty, alumni and from creative community members.

· Find out additional information about specific organizations on campus.
· Manage group membership for your various involvement on campus and manage your personal calendar with your groups’ events.

Volunteer Recruitment and Registration for Alternative Spring Break!

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is an exciting program, where volunteer activities are organized to serve your community during the break in March.
There will be many different sites, from a day long site visit to just a few hours a day. You pick which ones you attend! Come to one or sign up for all of them throughout the week! Check out our website to get details of the individual sites, which include:

Camp Korey (Carnation):
Various site maintenance activities, such as painting, moving heavy items.
Northshore Wranglers (Bothell):
Participating in activities with people with disabilities.
Food Line (Shoreline):
Sorting food donations.
Northshore Junior High (Bothell):
Spending time with Hang-Time students.

Universal Leadership Conference: Our Future

Apply to receive a full scholarship to the first annual Universal Leadership Conference: Our Future, here at UW Bothell. The Universal Leadership
Conference (ULC) is a student-run conference that provides leadership experience and training for college students. The ULC believes that service, social justice, and leadership are all connected. Thus, the programming for this conference offers students a variety of opportunities to learn, understand, interact with, experience, participate in, engage in, and reflect on service, social justice, and leadership.

Spend a weekend with the Diversity Programmers to broaden your horizons and to explore the intersection of diversity and the campus community by participating in hte Cross Cultural Engagement Retreat. Participants will need to come to the retreat prepared to actively participate in activities and workshops by sharing views, beliefs, and experiences openly and honestly. The Worldwide Book Drive and Sustainability Organization is collecting new and used books of all kinds.
Your contributions bring donated books to Africa, to be recycled by disabled workers training to re-enter the workforce, and will be sent to under-privileged youth throughout the U.S.
We need your help! If you have textbooks and any other kind of books, donate them! There is currently a blue drop-box next to the UW-1 Front Desk, so bring your new and old books there. If you have any questions, please contact Aaron
