Cell Sorting

Flow Facility staff is available for presort consultation.
You MUST contact the facility staff at 221-0502 prior to scheduling a same day sort to ensure you can be accommodated.

All sorts scheduled on the Aria II require approval prior to appearing on the calendar. To expedite your request to reserve time provide detailed information regarding your sort including:

1. Name, e-mail, phone
2. In the pop-up text window enter Flourochromes, sample type, collection configuration required (96 well plate, 15ml tubes etc.) and if a special nozzle tip is required, i.e. 100um.
3. All unfixed human samples must be of known origin and free from pathogenic material. Any human sample that has not been verified as pathogen-free must be fixed.
4. All BSL2 sorts need EH&S and SLU Flow Facility approval prior to scheduling.

Once you have submitted a request that time slot is secured and will appear on the calendar after the staff verifies that you can be accommodated.

Please note the following:
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged for 1 hour of set-up time.
No shows will be charged for the full amount of time they have reserved.
