This project will collect social survey data of seven marine protected areas in Puget Sound to document management status, perceptions of success, and collaborative planning opportunities.
This study will document the status of marine protected areas in the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem area which stretches from the Maldives to western Indonesia. The study will inform the development of a significant international MPA network.
International Adoption of Conservation Technologies (IntACT): This study will explore the key factors related to successful cross-cultural promotion of marine conservation technologies by investigating the case studies of the international promotion of turtle excluder devices (TEDs) and circle hooks, which are both used to reduce bycatch of sea turtles. Research will be conducted in Ecuador and Costa Rica.
