Student Organizations

The Coastal Society (TCS)

The University of Washington hosts a student chapter of The Coastal Society, a national professional organization of “private sector, academic, and government professionals and students dedicated to actively addressing emerging coastal issues by fostering dialogue, forging partnerships, and promoting communication and education.” The UW Student Chapter of TCS hosts several professional networking events a year (“Blue Drinks”), and participates in service projects. TCS offers an excellent opportunity for students to engage in a professional environment and learn about potential career fields.
