Conduct Mock Residency Interviews
Between late September and mid-November, the Office of Career Advising conducts mock residency interviews for fourth-year students, and they need alumni to help. No experience required — beyond the fact that you, too, once faced a residency panel!
How it works:
- You will be scheduled for up to three 30-minute interviews (20 minutes of interview; five minutes for feedback; one five-minute break before the next interview) in a 1.5-hour block.
- You will be provided with lists of potential interview questions and copies of the student’s CV, personal statement and MSPE.
- Students will be randomly assigned to interviewers regardless of specialty choices.
- Snacks will be provided.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and support current students.
Mock residency interview volunteer positions are full for 2018. If you are interested in participating in the 2019 mock interview sessions, please contact the alumni association at firstname.lastname@example.org or 206.685.1875.
