Banners, Balloons and yes! Buttons! at Resource Center. Ask yourself, “Does my club really exist?” It will after your RSO creates buttons at Resource Center.
What Up Dawgs?
The Resource Center for Student Organizations is a campus program at the University of Washington that aims to facilitate the diverse interests and activities of the numerous campus student organizations. All of the Center’s resources and services are provided free of charge. The Resource Center is 100% funded by the Services and Activities Fee (SAF) and much of the equipment is funded by the Student Technology Fee Committee (STFC).
Registered Students Organizations can create banners on the HP Z3200 poster printer at Resource Center
Balloons at Resource Center can lift your RSO to new heights.
The Resource Center is going to have to be very careful with the funds available to keep the center up and running at its best.
The largest regular expense we have is the purchase of color ink used in the color printers. If everyone uses good judgement and some of these “printervention” tips, the Resource Center will be able to support your organization as well in June as we do in October.
- Consider designing your brochures, poster and banners in black and white, using black sparingly for text and simple graphics. Avoid black backgrounds.
- The use of color paper can give you the design “pop” you’re looking for without draining your printers of precious ink.
- If you do need to use color, please try to limit the color to only the necessary design elements and don’t create solid color backgrounds.
- Design with Ink in mind.
