Mandatory TB & Flu Clinics in September
Health Sciences Immunization (HSIP) Program
All new CoreSLP, MedSLP and Au.D. students are required to attend annual tuberculosis and flu shot clinics held on campus each fall. Attendance at all scheduled clinics is a requirement of the UW Health Sciences Immunization Program (HSIP) in which you will enroll. The HSIP health fee students pay covers the costs associated with these clinics.
Before you arrive this fall, we will finalize the clinic times and procedures and communicate them to you. Each student must attend two assigned clinics. The initial clinic time will be for administering the tuberculosis PPD skin test and flu shot. The follow-up clinic time will be for PPD readings.
